Today I went out to Riverside to meet one of the cutest baby boys I've ever seen! My friend Kim delivered her son on March 1st. His name is John Caleb Bennett and we'll be calling him Caleb. He's just perfect!!!!

My 2 hours with Caleb and Kim were pure heaven. They are going to have so much fun together. Kim is doing great and she's going to an outstanding Mommy! Hugs and Kisses to you both!

Cal Poly Pomona Strawberries

Today we all went to pick strawberries at the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store. We got there a bit early so we went to see the ducks. As soon as we parked by the duck pond Brixie Lee started shouting Ducks! Ducks! Ducks! Quack-quack! Quack-quack! Quack-quack! She obviously remembered the ducks from last weekend.

Off to the strawberries! At the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store you can pick your own strawberries. I had no idea that Brixie Lee would enjoy this so much. Once we showed her that she could pick the red ones, she went wild! She didn't go for too many green ones, but anything with a bit of pink to it was attacked. We ended up buy a box full of half ripe strawberries, but it was worth every penny.
Brixie Lee has also started to show signs of being her mother's daughter. She hates dirt on her hands. She doesn't get upset, she just keeps brushing her hands together (with a smile). It's very cute... as you can see below!

Butterfield Ranch Park

Today Don and Brixie Lee did their normal walk to Butterfield Ranch Park and I decided to go with them and take the camera. The park is about a mile away from our house and Brixie Lee loves to go there and watch all the kids and dogs. Love you kiddo!

I’m so glad that Don finds the time to spend such quality time with Brixie Lee. He really is an amazing father! Love you honey!

Cal Poly Pomona Farm

Today Grandma came down to Chino Hills to help celebrate my 30th Birthday (the rain last weekend made us push back the celebration for a week). Check out Brixie Lee's new hat and backpack from Grandma!

We started the celebration at the Cal Poly Pomona duck pond. I realized while we were there that I first saw this duck pond in Sept-1995 as a freshman in college. That was over 12 YEARS ago! WOW... that seems like such a long time ago. OK... back on track... Brixie Lee was able to feed the fish and the ducks. She even got to pet a turtle, which I later found out is a no no. Oh well.

If Daddy were there he would have been itching to get a fishing poll in Brixie Lee's hands. I'm tell you, these fish were HUGE!

From there we went over to see some mama and baby cows. One mama cow let out an enormous MOOOOOO just two feet from Brixie Lee. It didn't scare her, but her eyes were WIDE open. Then we walked over to the horses. Guess what! They like celery. Well, the girl horse did (probably watching her figure) and the boy horse just dropped it over and over again (probably wanting a hot dog). I forgot to take any pictures, sorry!

Then we finished the farm day down by the pigs! The pig visit was very, very short because... well... the just were too stinky. What pigs!
We were even able to get really, really close to a baby goat because he had escaped from his pin. We think he was going to stuff himself silly with that big bail of hay. I put him back in his pin when we left. He was so cute!
We finished the farm visit and had to celebrate some more at IKEA! We had a great lunch and shopped till Brixie Lee dropped. She was so tired that I just had to buy her a huge stuffed dog to lay her little head one. Again, sorry, no pictures of that.
Thank you for such a wonderful 30th Birthday Celebration Grandma and Baby Girl! I love you both soooooooo much!

B-Day with my Girlie Girls!!!

Two of my good friends and their daughters came over to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Don Lee was supposed to be in class, but he thought he should help me celebrate (riiiight). Let's just say these Girlie Girl friends of mine made him blush on several occasions.

We had a wonderful night! Marissa made yummy, yummy shredded beef taquitos, salsa and guacamole. Then we finished off the evening with Anne's outstanding flan and cupcakes. It was all sooooo good!

Thank you Girlie's for making my 30th one to remember ;)

I'll upload the picture once Don Lee has time to convert it!

First Day at the Beach...

Today we went took Brixie Lee to the beach for the first time and we had a blast. Brixie didn't like it so much, but we had lots of fun trying to get her toes in the water! If you want to see all the pictures from today, check out Don's Gallery.

To make the day even better, she got another tooth! This time it's on top!
